Leap into Space, a view inside the tank

Inventor Andrew Hunt leads the field in hi-tech flow meters and he is the technical expert behind Atout Process. This innovative company leaps forward with the futuristic answer to todays most accurate measurement taken inside a pipe. Atout’s ECT (Electrical Capacitance Tomography) is the equivalent of a body scanner but for pipes and tanks. It is 100 times cheaper than a medical body scanner and 1000 times faster. And the information it gathers can be just as critical, particularly when working on something as far reaching as Atout’s latest space project, where the amount of fuel in a tank can make the difference between life and death! Applications of Atout’s ECT have been mainly in industrial and academic research, but now Atout is accelerating forwards into mass production and an exciting new programme for applications in space.
